informations about producer

Azienda Agricola La Torre, a winery called La Torre is found near the town of Sant’ Angelo in Colle towards the south of Montalcino. Everyone who likes Italian wines, and especially the Tuscan will associate this name with Brunello wine, because it originates in Montalcino exactly.

The owner of almost 7 hectares of vineyards is Luigi Anania, an enologist by profession but a writer by avocation. The first noble Brunello obtained from the grapes grown in the vineyards of La Torre was produced in 1982, 11 years after purchasing the estate.

The wines made by Luigi are Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, Ampelio, Rosso Toscana and Brunello Riserva in the best years.

The philosophy of this small wine producer is focused on traditional winemaking methods with the aim of highlighting the best in the indigenous Sangiovese Grosso grape.
