Dry white wine from native Veneto grape Trebbiano di Lugana. Lugana is an interesting and unique white wine that comes from vineyards located on the south side of Lake Garda, on the border of the provinces of Verona (Veneto) and Brescia (Lombardy). Known already in ancient Roman times, Lugana was granted the DOC status in 1967. Now is very popular, Lugana is excellent as an aperitif (served in the walking zones of Garda) and as an accompaniment to sweet water fish and starters. Its basic version is fresh, slightly citrussy, the Superiore and Riserva versions are decisively more consistent, Passito and Spumante are for lovers of Lugana that prefer more original releasings of this wine.

Hand set and careful selection of grapes from best exposed vineyards and long ageing in wood result in a sensational Barbera. 70% of wine aged in new small French oak barrels, 30% in barrels used for second or third time. The producer’s basic version of Aglianico comes from vineyards situated 400m above sea level and is harvested in the mid of October.
