Dry red wine made from the autochthonous grape varieties of Veneto, Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara. It comes from the hilly vineyards around Verona in the region of Veneto. Bardolino, as a flagship wine next to Valpolicella, is famous for its delicacy and pleasant to drink. It was not aged in wood, thus is characterized by a well-marked fruity note.

Portale Adduca

A dry red wine Basilicata’s native grape, Aglianico del Vulture. The foothills of an extinct volcano are characterized by rich soils . The area around the volcano is surrounded by vineyards planted with Aglianico. This ancient grape variety, probably originating in Greece, gives great wine called also Barolo of the south. Nebbiolo and Aglianico are certainly two different wines, but their common characteristics consist in ageing ability and extraordinary richness of aromas and flavors enhancing best as it ages. Portale Aduca is an excellent example of quality of great Aglianico. Vineyards are situated between 450 and 600 meters above sea level in the classic zone around the town of Maschito near to Venosa. Thanks to the hand-set of grapes, their careful selection and ageing for 12 months in 500l oak barrels this wine delights by color, aromas and rich structure. Adduca is the name of a rich family once lived in Maschito.

Color: ruby red with burgundy reflections, shimmering.

Aroma: complex, rich, notes of sour cherry jam, cacao, pepper.

Flavor: fresh, mineral with subtly marked tannins.

Food matching: perfect with light appetizers, charcuterie; a great match with veal scallops in delicate sauce.

Cantolio Cantine del Primitivo di Manduria

Primitivo di Manduria Terra

Dry red wine from the indigenous Primitivo di Manduria grape called “Terra”, the Italian for the Earth. The vineyards are located in the deep territory, on the so-called red soils, rich in potassium and iron and on the black ones full of humus and clay. The vines are cultivated in the ‘alberello’ style (short vine trees) typical for the south of Italy. The ‘alberello’ style makes the grapes in time get close to the earth, from which obtain nutritional components, warm and humidity. Around the vine is created a kind of hole, where water is collected. Many vine trees are more than 70 years old and still yield ripe grapes. That is why Primitivo Terra so delights by freshness, ripe fruit and rich structure. The harvest is done manually until the middle of September, after a short period of fermentation the wine ages in small French oak barrels. Excellent and elegant Primitivo justifiably won a gold medal in the competition World Wine 2014 in Brussels.

Aroma: rich, complex, floral-fruity notes.

Flavor: warm, fresh, gently tannic, long-lasting.

G1928 Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso

A dry red wine made from a mix of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This is so called blend that is a composition of two batches of red grapes subjected to the separate process of vinification, next combined in the whole to age in wood. The name Gio’1928 is dedicated to the father of the winery owner - Giovanni born in 1928.

Color: ruby red, intensive.
Aroma: delicate, forest fruit and vanilla notes.
Flavor: pleasant, full bodied, harmonious.
Food matching: best with grilled and roast meats, seasoned cheeses.

Pinot Grigio

Dry white wine of Pinot Grigio. It comes from the zone located near Bolzano, between the Isarco and Adige rivers. Vineyards situated 260 meters above sea level or even higher and sedimentary calcareous soils make the local Pinot Grigio wines are of intense structure and rich aromas. The vinification process is done in stainless steel tanks. A well-structured, strong and elegant wine.

Color: straw yellow with greenish reflections.
Aroma: complex, notes of fresh fruit, ripe Williams pear, mint, balm, black tea, a hint of butter and almond.
Flavor: full, rich, creamy, elegant.
Food matching: excellent with tomato sauces, vegetable lasagna, pumpkin soup, potatoes au gratin, soft pecorino cheese.

Montenidoli di Maria Elisabetta Fagiuoli

Vinbrusco

Dry white wine from the indigenous Tuscan grapes of Trebbiano Gentile Malvasia Bianca. According to historical writings this was a favorite wine of Tuscan peasants. It ferments in steel tanks, and then matures on the natural yeasts, which were formed in the fermentation process itself. Thanks to this gains softness and full-body while maintaining the richness of perfumes, due to the presence of an aromatic Malvasia.

Flavor: a rich, spicy, long felt in the mouth.
Food matching: very good for spicy oriental and Mexican cuisine, seasoned by spicy paprika or saffron.

„Le Sorelle” Langhe Rosso

A dry red wine made from native Piedmont grapes Barbera, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo. As great fans of Piedmont we always search for wines like “Le Sorelle”, Italian for Sisters. A blend of three local grape varieties is a real pleasure to the taste, as it vary from ordinary single variety wines, which, however, are considered the most noble. A very approachable wine, rich in fruit, with gentle acidity and consistence. Aged for 3 months in big oak casks. Certainly a well done wine of Virna and Ivana sisters.

Aroma: complex, notes of forest fruit, sweet cherries, a hint of vanilla.
Flavor: full, rich, a long finish.
Food Matching: ideal for dishes based on meat, cured meats and seasoned chesses.

Cabernet Sauvignon

A dry red wine from Cabernet Sauvignon. This French grape well naturalized in eastern Veneto, here doesn‘t give great and structured wines. They are light, soft, tannic and gently fruity exactly like Omelia‘s Cabernet. This carefully worked out wine with intense color, not aged in wood, goes well with meat roasts.

Aroma: notes of ripe red fruit, blackberry.

Flavor: dry, fresh.

Food matching: excellent with white meats roasts, stewed meats, hard cheeses.

Montenidoli di Maria Elisabetta Fagiuoli

Carato Vernaccia

A dry white wine from the indigenous strain of Vernaccia. Carato is derived from the type of wooden barrels in which the white wine matures. Natural grape juice at 12 months of rest in the wood gains its aromatic notes, while keeping the smell and taste of very ripe grapes. As for white wine it is very strong, thus tastes best after a meal. Excellent also as a meditation wine after a generous meal.

Aroma: notes of citrus, honey.
Flavor: velvety, soft, elegant.
Food matching: very good for seasoned cheeses, fancy foods, also to enjoy after the meal

Verduzzo Friulano

A sweet white wine made from the indigenous Verduzzo Friulano grape of Veneto. It is a strain that depending on the method of vinification gives the wine dry or sweet, strong, with a good scent. Verduzzo from our producer was harvested in late autumn, hence sweetness and an aroma of very ripe, almost raisiny grapes are scented in a bottle of this excellent wine.

Aroma: complex notes of peach, apricot, honey, raisins
Flavor: sweet, velvety
Food matching: perfect for a gorgonzola blue cheese or Roquefort, smoked cheeses, Pecorino sheep cheese type. Great combined with cream of pumpkin. Equally after a meal tastes delicious with dry biscuits

Azienda Agricola Cencig Nicola & Mauro

Cabernet Franc

A dry red wine made from the Cabernet Franc grape. This grape variety orginating in France is generaly blended with Merlot, its "pure" version is a perfect example of a wine with a fairly good structure, combining well with most meat-based dishes. This wine from our producer located in Friuli was not aged in wood.
