A dry red wine made from native Sicily grape Frappato.This grape was already famous in the XVII century. The classic zone of cultivation is located in the south-eastern Sicily. Frappato has an aroma of ripe fruits and enhances by freshness. An ideal accompaniment with many dishes, from starters to the main course. Not aged in wood.

The production of this sweet sparkling wine began in the mid-nineteenth century and Asti Spumante has been enjoying great success up to the present throughout the world. It is a great companion to desserts and a naturally sweet and aromatic wine to sip.

This interesting white grape variety has its classical zone in the neighboring region of Marche, but it is also well naturalized in hillside vineyards in the Colli Aprutini zone. Pecorino from Colonnella is a well-structured wine with a pleasant aroma note, fresh and full in the mouth.

Rosso Fosco Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro

Medium-dry red sparkling wine of the indigenous grape, Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro. It comes from the vineyards located on the hilly areas to the south of Modena. Made by the Charmat method or re-fermentation in large pressure tanks, with its characteristic crimson color and rich foam which are the attributes of the wine, the variety of Grasparossa di Castelvetro is characterized by intense winey and fruity notes. Among all four types of Lambrusco, classified as DOC, it is a full-bodied wine with the best structure. The semisecco or medium-dry version is great match for the main course and desserts.

Beneventano Falanghina

A dry white wine made from the native Campania grape Falanghina originating from the province of Benevento. A wine with a gentle name and rich profile of aromas and flavors. Like other local Campanian white grapes Falanghina gives well-structured wines. Low acidity but gently crisp, hard to put the glass back down, great match with fish and sea-food.

Aroma: gently fruity, notes of peach and pineapple.

Flavor: dry, crisp, expressed.

Food matching: excellent with fish and sea-food, especially „pesce all’acqua pazza” oven-baked fish with the addition of small tomatoes and aromatic spices, also white meats in sauce.

Lagrein Kretzer

A dry pink wine. The only pink wine in the whole range of our producer made from Alto Adige’s native red grape variety, Lagrein. The Kretzer is a pink version of this wine which was subjected to a careful process of vinification consisting in using fermentation method as for white wine for a few days in the temperature higher than 15°C, and also the Saignee method. It is a short maceration or contact of the skins with the must to obtain a beautiful shimmering pink color.

Color: light cherry, shimmering.
Aroma: fruity, notes of cherry, red currant.
Flavor: fresh, delicately dry, full.
Food matching: excellent with cured meats like speck or mortadella, with pasta and risotto, pizza, shrimp cocktail, delicate fish.

Tenuta Scuotto

Taurasi

A dry red wine made of native Campania grape Aglianico. It’s a variety called Aglianico of Taurasi, a noble clone of the grape naturalized in 17 towns in the zone of Irpinia. The vineyards are situated 400-700 m above sea level, while Irpinia’s terroir is favorable to this ancient grape, not without reason called „the Barolo of the south”. Deep color, rich aromas, powerful tannins make Taurasi one of best Italian wines. Hand-picked grapes were vinified for more than one year in small French oak barrels, then the wine matured for two years in bottle. With age it is better, developing its aromas and refining powerful tannins.

Color: intense ruby red with violet hues.

Aroma: rich, complex, notes of blackberry, cherry, plum, forest fruits.

Flavor: dry, warm, velvety, long lingering aftertaste.

Food matching: excellent with meat dishes, roast and grilled meats, seasoned cheeses.

Lagrein

Dry red wine from the indigenous Lagrein grape. Name comes from the Latin Lagenaria, which means barrel-shaped tank for wine, made of terracotta. Lagrein is a wine with a strong structure, also thanks to half-year aging in large wooden barrels. Lagrein is a wine with a relatively low tannic note and rich aroma. Very nice flavor, with a velvety texture and nicely marked fruit.

Color: intensely purple.
Aroma: notes of violets, ripe plum, clove, chocolate.
Flavor: velvety, soft, fresh
Food matching: very good for dishes based on venison, roast meats, grilled meats.
Serving temperature: 14°/16ºC.

Barbera Alba Barrique

Dry red wine from Piedmont‘s native Barbera d’Alba grapes produced in the Alba zone. In relation to the ordinary Barbera, this version of wine, as the name suggests, was subjected to aging in small French oak barrels - barrique for almost a year. Therefore, its structure is stronger and definitely enhances the typical notes of toasted wood and spices such as cocoa. It is characterized by a strong ruby color, intense aroma and deep strong taste. This wine is full-bodied, velvety and harmonious.
