A dry red wine of Piedmont‘s native grape, Nebbiolo. Bussia is the name of a Cru, a small vineyard planted with Nebbiolo, located between the towns of Barolo and Monforte to the east. Morenic soils with the layers of dark clay and sandy marl make the grapes of Nebbiolo have an intense aromatic and chromatic potential. The hand set in the end of October and period of ageing for more than 24 months results in an elegant and noble Nebbiolo. With age its shimmering ruby red color obtains orange reflections, the wine becomes extremely harmonious, subtle and rich. Gentle notes of rose and violet take the second place to more marked aromas of liquorice, pepper and cinnamon.
