A dry white wine made from the native Campania grape Fiano originating from the zone of Irpinia. „Vitis appianae” is the Latin name of the grape, very liked by the bees because of its sweetness. Thanks to high sugar levels the Fiano grape gives wines with high alcohol content, powerful and well-structured, and also fragrant and crisp at the same time. Moreover, as for white wine Fiano ages beautifully, showing its merits even a few years after the vintage. Scuotto’s Fiano is cultivated in vineyards located 400 m above sea level. The harvest is done at the end of October, the wine is vinified for more than two months on skins and matures for more than 6 months in bottle.
