    A dry red wine made from native Piedmont grape Nebbiolo, from Lampia and Michet varieties. The Barolo range from Virna begins exactly with a wine called “Noi”, Italian for We, which is a classic wine of Barolo. Originates from vineyards located in the towns of La Morra, Novello and Monforte. After careful selection of grapes and fermentation the wine goes to big oak casks and ages for about 18 months. Slightly raw and with harmoniously pronounced tannins, with unusual balance. A classic and quality wine.

    Color: intense ruby red with purple hues.
    Aroma: full, intense, ethereal, notes of red fruits, hints of vanilla, cocoa, spice.
    Flavor: rich, tannic, harmonious.
    Food matching: ideal for dishes on the base of meat, beef steaks, long seasoned chesses.                                       
    Serving temperature: 17°/18°C in large glasses like Burgundy.

    A dry red wine from the native Tuscan grape Sangiovese with the addition of Canaiolo and Merlot. I Casali is the name of a vineyard from which originate the grapes used to make this wine. A high-quality, classic Chianti, characterized by all the merits of the grape – freshness, ripe fruit and gentle tannins. The grapes, collected manually, are carefully transformed into wine, which then matures for 12 months in 2500 litre oak casks. Our producer doesn’t intentionally use barriques to highlight beautiful cherry and violet notes of Sangiovese. Very drinkable.

    Aroma: intense, long lasting, fruity and floral notes.

    Flavor: warm, soft, harmonious.

    Food matching: excellent with ragout lasagna, grilled meat, Florence steak, meat roast.

    A dry red wine made of native Puglia grape Negroamaro. The sunny Salento is the best place for Negromaro. The Cantolio estate producing excellent Primitivos has also outstanding Negroamaros in the range. The name „Vero”, meaning real reflects genuine merits of the wine defined by the name of the grape. „Negro”, its almost black color, and „amaro” its characteristic bitter aftertaste. In fact it looks and tastes so. Rich, strong and concentrated, uniquely velvety and warm. A savory wine.

    A dry white sparkling wine made from native Veneto grape Glera. It’s Prosecco in Superiore Brut version, little more dry than Extra Dry, with the sugar content below 6 gr/l. Long lasting bubbles or perlage highlight its unique freshness and gentle fruity aromas. An extremely pleasant wine.

    A dry white wine made from local grape varieties cultivated in the Colli Euganei zone. This picturesque zone to the south of Padova generates delicate and pleasant white wines. Unique microclima and features of volcanic soils provide perfect conditions for vineyards, therefore the combinations of local grape varieties into a wine called Colli Euganei Bianco is a guarantee of freshness and aroma. An ideal accompaniment with fish and white meats. In summer properly cooled suits very well also with aperitif.

    Dry red wine made from native Tuscany grape Sangiovese with the addition of Colorino and Merlot. A very drinkable Chianti, typically Tuscan style. Not aged in wood, reminding of ripe wild strawberries and raspberries, gently tannic and light taste. For enthusiasts of red wines it is an excellent  accompaniment with most dishes, especially dishes with tomato sauce.

    Sweet white wine, a passito version or obtained from dried grapes. The harvest of very ripe grapes of Incrocio Manzoni is done in the middle of September. Next the grapes are stored on wooden racks in special air-ventilated rooms. This way they lose about 30% of initial weight to accumulate sugars and aromas. The vinification done only in December results in a wine distinguished by natural sweetness and unique bouquet. The name „Pensiero d’amore” is Italian for „a gift of love” or “love thoughts”. When creating this wine the idea of Ornelia and her family was to make a gift for their friends and relatives, she wanted to appreciate them this way. It’s the only wine of this kind in the range of Ornelia Belia.

    Color: yellow, amber.
    Aroma: rich, notes of ripe tropical fruits, citruses, honey, vanilla.
    Flavour: sweet, harmonious, balanced.
    Food matching: excellent with cream desserts; a wine to meditate with, that goes well also with soft cheeses.
    Serving temperature: 10°/12°C.

    Dry red wine of the autochthonous Barbera d’Asti of Piedmont. The name Tre Vescovi - Three Bishops refers to the meeting place of the bishops of Asti, Alessandria and Acqui Terme on one of the hills, which today belongs to the vineyards of the Cooperative. Anyone who had the pleasure to try this Barbera, certainly confirms its bouquet and a great pleasure to savour. It is a hit among our Barberas. The wine belongs to the category ‘Superiore‘ that is charecterized by higher flavor qualities and alcohol level thanks to the careful selection of grapes and ageing for a minimum of 12 months of which 7 in oak barrel.

    Aroma: notes of plum, ripe cherry, forest litter, soft vanilla.
    Flavor: harmonious, full.
    Food matching: very good for dishes based on meat and mushroom sauces; roast stewed and grilled meats, venison, seasoned and blue cheeses, cheese with herbs.

    Dry red wine varietal Nebbiolo. Another version of the Valtellina Superiore called Prugnolo. It is a decorative shrub with red-purple fruit that grows on the slopes of vineyards situated at an altitude of up to 600 m above sea level. Aged for 12 months in small French oak barrels, previously used for aging the noblest variety of Valtellina, called Sfursat and for the next nine months in the bottle.

    Dry red wine of native Piedmont grape Dolcetto d’Alba. The name of the grape comes from the Italian dolce, sweet, but sweetness is only a feature of grapes rather than of the wine which is made from them. Dolcetto is deeply rooted in the winemaking tradition of Piedmont and very loved by its residents. This goes well with most dishes, from hors d‘oeuvres to main courses. Dolcetto is a simple and pleasent wine to drink after the meal.
